What is Negative Karma?

Karma is often used in conversations especially in negative context. However, karma is basically the idea that current and previous actions of a person ultimately influence their future experience.

It is about the cycle of action and reactions. Many people go through life without realizing the effects of their thoughts on their realities.

All your thoughts, intuitions and actions create and send out ripples of energy through the universe which ends up reverberating back to you. Karma measures how balanced you are in relation to the universe.

Negative Karma

Karma energy can be positive or negative. Negative energy from your thoughts and actions creates negative karma while positive energy creates good karma.

Your intentions determine what kind of karma you get. How you see yourself, your worldview and how you see others also contribute to your karmic energy.

What Creates Negative Karma

Whatever ultimately harms others or yourself will bring about negative karma. While serious wrongdoings such as murder, betrayal, and greed induce negative karma, even simple activities like sleep or eating disruptions can contribute to negative karma which is an unhealthy body in this case.

It doesn’t matter if you spoke or thought harmful words intentionally or unintentionally, negative karma will ensue.

False Karma

False karma is placed on others through judgments and condemnation. This occurs when a person is unjustly accused of a wrongdoing by a group of people or a person with strong intention/or an intention to harm.

This energy has curse like effects and will attach to the person and result in bad karmic energy. This then attracts negative backlash and karma.

The person lives out their life/lives experiencing bad luck and difficult situations for unjust accusations. Religion is well-known for this type of infliction of false karma by priests and their congregations.

This then creates hopelessness and pointless suffering which doesn’t help the soul grow. The bad karma continues life-time after lifetime until it is removed.

The following video is a classic example of a young girl born with false karma on her soul.

Laws of Karma

There are 12 laws which govern karma, some of which are discussed below.

1. The Great law which posits that you must embody the things you want to get. This is similar to the universal law of attraction.

2. The law of creation states that you must actively participate in the life you want.

3. The law of humility deals with accepting the current state of events before any change can be affected.

4. Karmic law of growth state that the change in the world starts from you.

5. The law of responsibility states that you are the source of your own life events and whatever that is happening around you is a mirror of what is happening inside of you.

How to Clear Negative Karma or Get Rid of Bad Karma from Past Life

1. Identify Your Karma

First, you should examine the areas of your life that feel stagnant or retrogressing. Then think deeply about them to understand the root cause of the conditions.

2. Cut off Toxic Relationships

It is your life and you should make it simpler and more meaningful. One way to do this is cutting out people who are sources of complications and contribute negative karma to your energy field.

3. Accept Responsibility

Your energy field will begin shifting towards positivity when you accept responsibility. Your ego may prevent you from seeing where you go wrong or the mistakes you have made. Let it go so you can neutralize negative karma.

4. Embrace Changes

Repeatedly doing the same things will yield the same results. Changing what you do and the way you do it is a good starting point for clearing negative karma.

5. Forgive

Forgiving others will help you detach from anger, bitterness, and frustration which are fuels for bad karma.

Negative karma remains stuck to a person unless they clear it.  The best way to reduce negative karma is by treating others with compassion.
