Are you wondering how to go forward in a world that seems to filled with fear and violence in light of the recent terror attacks in Paris? We are now living in a world where we are more vulnerable than ever before.I can only imagine what it feels like to be a survivor or witness such horrific terrorist’s attacks that are now more rampant than ever.

There is an Answer

If you are wondering what you can do or how you can protect yourself – I have an answer that you may not have considered on how to win the war on terror. Firstly is to recognise that these terrorists are mainly all males. They all have mothers and some have wives. The women in their lives have been disempowered, suppressed, silenced and often abused. They have had no voice or influence as a mother in teaching their children what to think, what to question or how to behave. In fact, they have been conditioned to have no respect for women or tolerance for anyone not of their faith.

So my solution I am offering is to balance the inequality for women. Allow women to lead, to have a voice, to be considered as an equal and to be treated with respect and dignity. The consciousness of women’s value needs to seriously change. This will raise the profile of women and they will lead and not permit such atrocities to take place.  They will hold accountable for their sons, their husbands and their fathers.

Women Have Been Silenced and Suppressed

This war on terror is not an uncommon scenario for a lot of women I have encountered –  and they’re from the western world. Over 70% of the women who come to my workshops or clinic, recount stories that they were raised in a family environment that is not dissimilar to living in a war zone.  Many of them were vulnerable to being emotionally, physically and sexually abused. They were vulnerable to violence that could erupt for no reason and vulnerable to other male predators outside of their home. This pattern is then replicated in their adult life.

This conditioning causes women to be disempowered, keep silent, act submissive and shut down their innate gift of “knowing” or being intuitive which is ultimately following their gut feelings. This ability, can save lives as it always leads to protection and warns of dangers, it guides you to safety. If women were given equality and allowed to lead, men would not have the power to commit such atrocities. Women would then use their innate gift of intuition to lead compassionately and guide their families to safety.

Change from Within

Leo Tolstoy once said, “Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself.”

It’s time for a change; it is time that women’s influence and value on the world is restored. When that happens, there will be peace on our planet which is ironically “mother earth.” So, I rest my case and I will continue to heal and empower women even more than I had been doing before.
